Celebrity deaths this week

Dolly Parton's passing highlighted life's ending. This week's three deaths.

Dolly Parton died August 25th. From my childhood, I recall Dolly and Porter on the Porter Wagoner show. My parents listened to country, a lot. Dolly's voice was heard throughout the house. Today, my grandson gets a book from her Imagination Library. While it can be viewed many ways, Dolly keeping her medical issues quiet makes me respect her even more. I listened to a playlist of her songs for the entire day. Wow. Her songs pack a punch!

Now 2 more deaths.

Tim Curry died August 25th. My friends recognize this celebrity from the Rocky Horror show. I recognize him for the role in Home Alone 2, my wife's favorite Christmas movie and now a general favorite of my grandson.

Peter Cullen died August 26th. A voice actor I wasn't really aware of until now. From Optimus Prime to Eeyore to Monterey, his voice acting was awesome!

All of these folks were 80 or older. Long lives, I wish well lived to their families. To all celebrating deaths whoever and whenever, I wish you well.
