gFiber for the win!

It's the time of year for lawn aeration. Having done it myself for many years, starting last year we've paid a lawn service to do it. Lawn does look good.

Last year, we had AT&T fiber for internet service. When the lawn was aerated, yes, the fiber was cut. AT&T promptly texted that service was down and they'd come out to repair. Well, while the lawn was torn up, I decided to get gFiber installed. By the end of the week, both services were available. We terminated AT&T service. (the gradual AT&T price increases had switching on my mind)

This week, lawn aeration started around 10am and fiber cut about 10:45, again. Called gFiber. They said response within 24-48 hours. Decided to walk the dog and go into work to finish out the day. Walking around the block, a white suv with gFiber on the door drove by. No way. The repair was started by 12:30 and internet connection up by 2pm.

Wow! The turnaround on that call was impressive.
