WordPress in a browser
This is funny. I'm going to talk about how cool it is to have WordPress in a browser, while this site is ran by another software. No worries, after helping with administration of a multi-site WordPress server for years, I'm not switching back, yet.
WordPress has been used as an example for basic deployment stacks, along with how to use docker compose, and so on. This new deployment is mind blowing.
Starting with the article I saw first, Matt Mullenweg's post about it. This describes how it's done. I've been following WebAssembly (WASM) for quite some time. Seeing it put into this type of action is awesome! WordPress in a browser (yes, it does fire up a WordPress in your browser).
Here's the announcement on WordPress.org.
Sounds like some smoke and mirrors. There it is. I've not worked with it as of yet. The page and how quickly it comes up in the browser has me excited though. I will have to dig into it more!
